| The redesign of the site is taking much longer than anticipated, mainly because we're struggling to get it done 100% to our satisfaction. Therefore we're going all out to get this done before the transfer window opens in January. This unfortunately means delays in updating the website over the coming weeks, for which we sincerely apologise. | |
Thanks to everyone for getting in contact regarding the future stars lists. E-mails will be sent out to those selected for each country shortly.
In other site related news, recently the 50,000th transfer was added to the site's database.
We're still hopeful that the site's new design will be online for the site's 10th birthday (July 13th). Of course, more information on that nearer the time.
The football transfer news that appeared here previously has now been moved to GloriousFootball.com. The reason behind the move was to make the news more manageable.
The Bosman Team for season 2007/08 has been finalised. Admittedly it's quite late this year, meaning a lot of possible additions have already sorted out their futures.
Olof Mellberg is moving from Aston Villa to Juventus, Mathieu Flamini has decided to quit Arsenal and join AC Milan, whilst Wes Brown signed a new deal at Manchester United.
Even today, right-back Phillip Degen agreed to a transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Liverpool.
Despite the various players now not being eligible for the team, there's still quite a few quality players left. To view the team, please click here.
We're looking for people to create 'future star' lists of players who you think have the potential to be the next Cristiano Ronaldo or Kaka.
The format would be similar to previous lists like here for example.
If you're interested, please get in touch via the contact form here, and let us know for which country you're interested in writing for.
Thanks in advance.

Currently the site is undergoing a redesign. There'll be a few changes here and there with a few minor improvements.
As soon as the redesign is complete, then work on bringing back the likes of the transfer archives will begin.
Unfortunately it's unsure when the redesign will be completed, but as soon as it is, it will go live immediately.
Also please keep your suggestions on improving the website coming in. So far there have been some ideas which could be implemented soon.
The main purpose behind putting FootballTransfers.info up for sale was for new owners to come in and bring new ideas and inspiration to the site. As this didn't happen, we're now looking to you, the visitors of this website, to help take FootballTransfers.info to a new level.
An improvement already pencilled in are the transfer archives. We're also looking at bringing back features from the old version of the site. Some have asked for a newsletter, this is being considered. Of course, the site will be given a much needed redesign too.
If you'd like to get in touch with any suggestions on how to improve FootballTransfers.info or if there any features you'd like to see appear. Then feel free to get in touch via the contact form here.
At present it's unsure if any downtime will occur during the site's redevelopment. Of course, if so, an announcement will made here first.
| As the site has not been sold, news regarding the future of the site will be announced in the next few days. |
