2009 AESFA ELITE SQUAD ACADEMY SOCCER PROGRAM
The AESFA invite players 11 to 16 years of age currently playing in Metropolitan / Premier / Super Youth or Development League wishing to improve their football skills and knowledge to join our “ELITE SOCCER ACADEMY PROGRAM”. BLACKTOWN ACADEMY
Australian Elite Soccer Football Academy is proud to announce that the affiliation with Blacktown City Demons Academy is going ahead as planned and this will commence on the 22nd of October. This new venture is a promising time for the young potential soccer stars in the area. Members of the Academy will have the opportunity to continue learning the world game with professional coaching, necessary equipment and the provision of off the field education for the players and the parents, to not only become a good footballer, but to also become a good person and prepare them for life ahead. FRIENDLY GAMESAttention All AESFA Players Please be advised that the Academy will be playing games every weekend from Saturday 25th October through to Saturday 29th November at Kentucky Road Reserve, Kentucky Road, Riverwood. The opposition and age group start times will be posted on the website prior to each weekend fixture. We would appreciate your full cooperation in making sure all players are available to represent the Academy.
MASSAGE THERAPIST The massage therapist, Charles Aziz, has finished for the year. There wiil be no more appointments fro this year.
STATE AND NATIONAL TOURNAMENT
We would like to congratulate all players, coaches, team officials and parents for your support and efforts in making the inaugural AESFA National and State tournament a success. A special thank you to the Wollongong and Blacktown Academies and especially the two interstate teams for providing good competition on a daily basis. We are very happy with the format and look forward to making this tounament a feature of the Sydney football calendar in the years to come.

A 'Player of the Tournament' award was presented for playing excellence over the week to the leading player in each age group. Also awarded was an 'Achievement Award' presented to an individual who showed outstanding commitment and effort over the weeks competition. CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONSOur U11's were unfortunately defeated by the Eastern Suburbs champions, Queens Park 2 – 0 in the last round of the Champion of Champions.
