The Photographic art of Stuart Clarke Incorporating The Homes of Football
The work of Stuart Clarke = The World Cup, British domestic football, the World game, the best of photography, music festivals, environmental nudes, black & white, The World, Cumbria The Lake District.
The football work is sponsored in England by The PFA & supported around the World by The Premier League. Clarke is considered the number one photographer in his field.
There have been 5 books, 2 television programmes, 89 major exhibitions, 3 million visitors. In this the 10th year at Ambleside, there is a whole programme of Clarke exhibitions going beyond his football photography mission, showing that he is not only 'a football man'.
2394 photos online... and counting
The website is dominated by Clarke's football work. This is presented as themes, although one can search by club or subject. Not all the pictures in his football collection are on here, but they may gradually be added, and there is an option to view New Releases which are pictures Clarke thinks have a particular resonance.
Beyond the football, there are the music pictures, again presented as themes - and there is People versus Place and Environmental Nudes completing his photogrphic vision.
